Human Library Event, March 21

During the Human Library Event, individuals with varying life stories act as “books”. “Readers” from the community are invited to borrow the “book” for a short period of time to learn more about their personal story. Creators of the Human Library Event, which originated in Denmark, see the event as an opportunity to contribute to the process of breaking down barriers and opening up minds to the diversity and richness of community by challenging judgments and assumptions about individuals from different backgrounds.
When: Wednesday, March 21, 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Where: Library, EMF
