Welcome, Humanities Collection Development Librarian

Amanda Tiller joins the Queen Elizabeth II Library, and will be responsible for the print and electronic collections for the subject areas of General Humanities, English, Linguistics, French and Irish Studies.

Amanda received her Master of Library & Information Studies from the University of Western Ontario in 2009. Memorial University of Newfoundland awarded her an M.A. in English, Language & Literature in 2006 and a B.A. (Honours) in English, Language & Literature with a minor in Classics in 2004.

Before joining the QEII, Amanda worked as a Cataloger/Library Technician with the Legislative Library; a Public Services Librarian with the Health Sciences Library; a Reference Librarian at the Legislative Library, Newfoundland House of Assembly; Information Services Librarian with the QEII; Bibliographic Control Services Librarian with the QEII; and as a Research Assistant, Prospect Research, with the University’s Office of Alumni Affairs and Development. In addition to her librarian responsibilities, Amanda occasionally teaches undergraduate level English courses as a per-course Instructor with the Department of English.
